If you’re promoting your business online, then you’ll need an online marketing system such as a lead capture page, autoresponder, ad tracking tools, etc; in order to be successful online. Today I’m going to share some tips with you on building an effective lead capture page.
The Headline
The headline of your capture page should grab your visitors attention instantly, it should be in bright and bold letters and focus on what visitors are searching for.
Video or Audio
Adding video to your lead capture page can definitely turn visitors into leads. I have found this to work well in building my business.
Call To Action
A clear call to action should tell your visitors to take immediate action such as filling out a subscription form to receive an incentive or subscribing to a newsletter.
Subscription Form
A prospect’s name and email address is all you need to follow up with them. Asking for their phone number should be optional, because in most cases, visitors won’t feel comfortable with giving you their phone number.
Free Giveaway/Incentive
Most people won’t feel comfortable just giving away their contact information. Entice them by giving away something of value for free such as a free report or an ebook.
Bullet Points
Bullet points can further point out the benefits of what prospects will receive when they join your list.
Privacy Statement
A privacy statement should be listed at the bottom of your capture page. Let people know that their contact information is safe and secure and it will never be sold or rented.
Having all of these in place has helped me build my list, and I’m sure they’ll work for you too.
