There comes a time in your life when you’ll start to notice how you think. You’ll start to observe your thoughts and discover that your subconscious runs on autopilot with one random thought after another. When you think about a bad situation or tragic event from your past, your thoughts will begin to run wild.
Creating a string of “like” thoughts
If you hold on to that thought for less than 16 seconds, another thought just like it will pop up and so on and so forth, creating a whole string of “like” thoughts. These string of “like” thoughts will create a vibration (an emotion within your body). Before you know it, you’re headed on a emotional trip that you didn’t intend to take. You created it – unintentionally.
What a man thinks about, he becomes
Thinking negative is never a good feeling, it drains your energy, and you’re attracting things that you don’t want into your life. You become what you think about.
Your thoughts can manifest into reality
You may start to think “I’m not good enough”, and another thought pops up and says “I’ll never be successful”, and then another “I’ll never be happy”, and finally “I’m sick and tired of being broke”. Before you know it, you’ve just created a bad feeling manifesting more of what you don’t want.
As you go through life, what you think about will become true, and your experiences will cause you to have more of the same negative thoughts.
How to change or control your thoughts
1. Be aware and observe your thoughts.
2. Ignore reality, and think about how you want your life to be.
3. Repeat, repeat, repeat.
I know it’s hard to hear “ignore reality”, but the truth of the matter is that paying attention to your current situation will only bring more of that back to you.
When negative thoughts pop up, change that thought by focusing on something positive that you want out of life.
